The whole situation was fucking weird. And she still wasn't convinced that it wasn't some kind of joke even as she pulled up to the Empire hotel. She stopped to ask the door man where she needed to go to park when she was informed that she was expected and they would be happy to valet park for her. She started to argue but New York streets were kind of intimidating. She was way more accustomed to dirt and gravel then she was to the maddening urban environment. No wonder people didn't drive here.

So she let them valet park, but she insisted on riding shotgun. She could tell by the look on the guy's face that it was an odd request but her whole life was in that car. She wasn't just going to leave it in the hands of strangers. She got the same odd looks when she insisted on carrying her bag, guitar, and pillow herself. She half expected to see Chuck waiting for her in the lobby but when she didn't, she head upstairs to drop off her gear. Originally, she only planned to be up there a minute but Chuck hadn't been kidding about the luxury level. It was the nicest hotel room she had ever even seen in person. Marble floors, granite countertops, high end furniture and a big so big she was sure it wasn't just a king. It even had a kitchen. Not that she would need it since he promised meals.

However, it was the bathroom that held her attention the longest. It was bigger than some apartments with a shower and a tub big enough to swim in. They even had two robes and big fluffy towels. Enough for a week. So this was what heaven looked like. She knew she was supposed to meet Chuck but that bathtub called to her.
